The Honor/ Color Guard is comprised of over 20 VVI volunteers who serve as flag bearers, riflemen, buglers, and readers at events. Any VVI member can apply to join. Uniforms are provided except for jungle boots and either a dark green or black crew neck tee shirt. Guard member uniforms (based on event) include Tiger camo fatigues with appropriate patches and  pins, a black gun belt, jungle boots, black  military waist belt, black dickie and for headgear, either a beret, Boonie hat, or knit cap.
